2009 XF Locks in Limp Mode

I own a 2009 Jag XF
The car starts, runs, and drives.

Once I am driving if I accelerate
To quickly the car goes into
“Limp Mode”. I have to shutdown
the car and it resets to normal
until I put in drive and accelerate
To fast and it happens again.

My first thought is that you’re possibly having issues with your MAF sensors. Have you pulled the codes?
