'51 MK VII - Denver - $3,000

Much better deal tan the '54 one.

Not bad for a project, of course missing engine and hideous interior trim, but that’s peanuts to fix. No vin# given? We got less than 10 pcs of 1951 MKVII’s in Finland, of course over 1500 were made, I think most went to the US?

The earliest I know was #730135. And #731029 was raced in the 1952 Rallye de Monte Carlo with Finnish reg. HM-7.

A black car with a Red interior, that car has been lost, but a similar car from 1952 with the same reg. raced in the 1953 Monte Carlo has survived. (#732636)

Cheers!

That’s interesting: I would’ve thought they produced more of those.

Hi,

Yes! They did LOTS of them more in 1952, 1953 and 1954, but I meant the first year of production 1951. We got almost 100, AFAIK 9 pcs in 1951 and 55 pcs in 1952.

Cheers!

great to see the link to an advert for MKVII in Denver

And if anybody needs a PPI on it, I’m happy to help!

IF ANYONE decides to buy this I have a 1951 MK VII engine with a early 4-speed attached complete with manifolds and carbs. I also have 2 later MK VII engines available w/ trans. and manifold/carbs. Pictures can be available, Jim.
