'56 Mk 1 2.4 - Asbestos air duct?

I removed the flexible air duct (C.11827) under the left hand front wing (duct sends air to air cleaner and carbs.) I noticed the inside was lined with a thin paper material and outside wrapped with same. Any chance this liner/wrap contains asbestos? It is similar to the asbestos insulation I had on my furnace ducts in my house, built in '56 . Thanks

I have a similar duct on my XK120 FHC air cleaner system.
It seems to be just a wire coil wrapped with paper inside and out and the outside is sealed with some sort of rubber coating. No need for asbestos on a cold air intake.

I’m going to replace my duct with something that doesn’t have the inner paper wrap. The inside paper is not intact and will end up blocking my air filter as it falls apart.
