Used assembly lube on all the bearing surfaces that touch the crank. Did not put anything on the rope seal as it looks like it has the dry graphite impregnated so thought it was fitted dry. Do you still soak it even if it’s has dry graphite ?
I found this discussion with a forum search and one poster says 25 ft/lbs to turn the crank so I will check what I have tomorrow.
