Hello there! I’m new here on the forum and have been look everywhere for in on the borg Warner 12 transmission reveres problems. I’ve tried adjusting the rear band disassembled the valve block and cleaned found the valve # 66 on diagram to be in backwards hoping that was the issue no luck. It was working the other day and the just stopped. Now my neutral is acting like a drive put park is still working like park so I don’t think it’s the linkage. Does anyone have any suggestions. I still have not tried adjusting the linkage cause I’m assuming if park is working it should be ok or am I wrong?? Thank everyone Christopher
Disconnect the linkage, set a geat and see if you end up in that gear. Park isn’t precise, check the linkage.
