85 cruise control solenoid

when bench testing the actuator I am not getting my new bellows to move. With no power I can get my vac tester to register vac, but with any combination of power inputs to the 3 wires I can’t. Palm book is not clear on which wires are powered to actuate the bellows.
I am thinking the rubber seals on the solenoids are the problem. Has anyone got helpful details on removing the solenoids for inspection

Did you seal the new bellow with silicone? They might leak even if new.

Remove the assembly and the solenoids are in the back, you can test each one individually, electric wise and vacuum wise.
I think you can disassemble them, start by removing the top black hats.

So it looks like 12v to YW and ground to BLACK and YB.
Still need experience with solenoid removal!

Glen,
Did you check Kirby Palm’s book on pages 671-674? That seems to have all the information you are asking about on the Cruise Control Actuator solenoids and electrical tests.

No it does not
