My coolant temp gauge has been going a bit over the middle at idle, I have dual electric fans, they kick on for about 10 seconds but the needle remains a little after the middle. Should I be concerned?
You might try a ‘non-contact’ laser type temp reader aimed at the thermostat housing and other places around the engine to see if the gauge is correct or slightly out of tolerance?
Should be around 90 to 100 Centigrade.
