Appraiser wanted. Father died and left me with disassembled E Type and XK 120

My father passed and left me with a disassembled 1969 E Type, 2 + 2 and a disassembled 1952 XK120 and all of the parts to go with them. I also have 5 engines but only two Jags. Would like to pay an appraiser to tell me what I should ask for them.

I am located in Southetn California

I am not an appraiser, but a hobbiest in Anaheim if that works for you.

Here is a 68 I restored last year for a friend.

This post is giving me PTSD. My father also left me two Jaguars, one of which, his E-Type, he fortunately completing restored. However, his XK140 was in parts on his shelves. The shelves held a mix of 140 and E-Type parts which on some level are hard to distinguish. With two cars you have an even more of a challenge. Before you hire an appraiser, you may want to find someone who can identify which parts go to which car, segregate them, and do an inventory to determine how complete each car is. Anyone who has completely rebuilt his own car can readily identify parts. That will go a long way to preserving the value of your project cars.

I’m in Los Angeles if that’s close to you. Happy to look at what you have and offer thoughts.

Sounds like good candidates for Bring a Trailer and let the market decide…

Im in the OC if I can help…
