Ash tray interchangeability

Hi All
Jag MKIV 1948
As a consequence of shipping my car from the UK to the US some parts have been lost in the workshop of the friend who was holding my car, I can reorder some of the parts that have been lost from Worchester however frustrating that is to be buying them again !
However I had separated the ash tray bottoms from the tops to have the tops re chromed now the bases for the ash trays are in the lost in space list !
Question, are these ash trays for the dash and rear installed on any other Jag models or other makes of cars so to make finding replacements easer ?
Thanks
Mike

Can’t say as I’ve ever paid much attention to the ash trays.

I did not find any rear ash tray listed for the late Mark V DHC, but I believe they were in the side quarter panels, not on the back of the seats. I found this mention of Ash, which possibly means the ash tray.

Thanks Rob
Worchester classics have come up trumps with the ashtrays, thank goodness as I don’t think there are many around as spares ands reproduction ones are $120 + !
