What should the battery cable amp rating be for S1 4.2?
I used 240amp before but am struggling to find a supplier.
Is 170amp rated high enough?
what CCA is the battery rated at that you are using, typical standard battery cable from an auto store (avg/ arms length) will carry 750 amps, what gauge (dia) is the 170 amp rated cable, even welding cable will do the job.
Go to your local welder supplier and buy some welding cable.
2/0 is what you should use.
