Battery Hold Down Frame

PO must have ditched battery hold down frame. Part is NLA, and used OEM’s are expensive.

I’m using the standard Group 34 size battery. Is there some kind of frame out there I can buy so I can clamp this sucker down? I see the E-type is available, will that fit?

Try JagBits.com They have found lots of bits and pieces for me over the years. I believe they have a list of boneyards or something they use to track it down.

thanks, i did some research, and it looks like the E-type frame that has the bolt holes lengthwise like the XJS is the same dimension at 10 1/4" x 6 7/8". Group 34 batteries also have the same length/width as Group 24, which may have been the E-type battery?

$15 from Moss Motors, so I’ll give it a try.
