i want to remove the nonoriginal radio. is there a ready made blanking plate available?
if not, what is a readily available period correct radios? not interested in blue tooth etc modern radios unless they look period correct and are reasonably priced.

Yes, I like this too. I don’t want a radio, or speakers. I have seen JAGUAR lettered black blanks to take place of the radio. That is what I am after.
I have been looking into this also…There is a blanking plate available from Moss motors (for a MG), which I think you can simply cover the center piece your interior trim and it would work great. I missed and official “jaguar” blanking plate last week on Ebay. They dont seem to come for auction very often
Moss motors sells a radio blanking plate for an MG A. It is covered in covered in black vinyl with thin padding underneath. I simply removed the MG emblem and replaced it with two oval-head screws and finishing washers. I think it looks fine.
