What socket size fits the bolt for the vibration dampener on the 4.2 liter six cylinder engine? I’ve tried 33 mm (too big), 32 mm (too small) and 1.1/4" (too small).
I bought a 1 5/16" socket years ago just for this purpose - surprising your 33mm is too big!
IIRC it’s a whitworth size but just about everybody gets by with a 1-5/16" socket. They are very close to the same.
Yes, John, that’s what is mentioned in the link I provided as enunciated by @davidxk:
“I believe the correct answer is 3/4’’ Whitworth, but due to availability most people us a 1-5/16’’ SAE socket. They are so close that it works fine.”

Just to complete the esoterica, the bolt head is Whitworth but the threads are not. They are UNF.
