Can I use this for towing onto the trailer?

There are three bolts through that picture frame?

To the posters original question, can I tow my car up onto a trailer using this hook: I say, unreservedly so.

If you tow/pull up on a trailer useing this then just take care that the tow rope angle dosnt press up on the radiator or bonnet…especially if your pulling up a steep slope trailer/truck. …Steve

I believe that same admonition would go for the rope strung between the two lower A arm inner points.

OK – I see that Gary beat me to it.
My photo array does not include the reinforcing tubes.

I know - if Gary answered the question, why bother?
A: Cuz I took and labeled the photos before seeing Gary’s posting - if I did all the work, y’all gonna read it. :innocent:

The eyelet (pre-cleaning) with the three thru bolts

Details of the bolts . The center is longer (by about 3/4") cuz it mounts the three-way union for the front brake lines (mounted on the inside face (engine side) of the horseshoe).

Thanks for great research and pictures and all other comments.

Bottom of the picture frame looks a bit distorted, did somebody tow from the tie down point?

Doubt it: likely from years of jack abuse!
