[CANCELLED] Wanted: Series II E-Type Bulb Holder for 12V Smiths Clock

(Include at least one picture)

Description: I need a replacement bulb holder for the 12V clock in my 1969 E-Type Fixed Head Coupe. This is a simple bulb holder that fits in the 3/8" diameter hole in the rear of the C32438 clock with a single bullet connector and the wire is only about 3" long. The pictures show the Smiths clock from front and rear, as well as original bulb holder that the wire separated from and the end of the bulb holder that fits into a 3/8" opening at the rear of the clock. The bulb holder holds a small 2W bayonet type bulb. I suspect that these were used on a variety of British cars with the Smiths instruments. My E-Type Parts Catalogues do not include info on these later 12V clocks and so I am not certain of the Jaguar part number for this bulb holder as it is much smaller than the ones used for the engine instruments which use a larger screw in type bulb.

Let me check in the Rover parts pile: I think I’ve got a few.

I have a couple of XJS Smiths Speedo’s that have that type of lamp connector.
What would be a fair cost for you?

Careful here. The clock takes a BA7 base bulb, most vintage Jag bulbs were E10 base. The other place these were used was the bottom label strip on the e-type fold down panels. You may be able to find a suitable socket by searching for BA7 sockets.
