Cant get the seats out 96 XJS

I have a 96 XJS I need to remove the seats to replace bad motors in both front seats. I removed the two motor locking pins in both seats which should let the seats move freely but I cant get them to move. I tried a hammer and 2x4 still with no success. Any way I can get these seats out without wrecking them?

Are the motors bad? When I removed mine, ran the motors back and forth, exposing the four bolt heads for removal before finally disconnecting it and removing them.

Yes the seat wont move and the motors are not working.

I have the same catch 22 with a Subaru window motor. Only way to get the motor out is to lower the window glass, tricky when it is the motor that is bust.
