what is the green light in the speedometer area ???

A photo might help but generally a green light is a tell tale rather than a warning light vis red for immediate warning versus yellow (somethings not correct but you can still drive)

Off the top of my head, there is a green light to show the head lights are on. There is also a green light to show the front fog lights are on.
