Coilpack replacement

how to remove intake manifold

Which engine do you have?

I have the v6 3.0 l engine.

The intake manifold has to come off to acess the plugs. Just wanted to know if there are any hidden connections or bolts that I should know about.

Well, in the Workshop Manual there are 22 steps, starting with removing the wiper arms, the cowl grille and engine compartment brace.
One step is removing the throttle body, but that in itself is 7 steps.
There are a lot of electrical connectors, but none of them are hidden. Some are on the back and hard to get at. Maybe they are easier with the cowl grille off.
On the plus side, installation is one step, “reverse the removal procedure”
Better replace all the coils and plugs while you have all this off. And the camshaft variable valve timing solenoid; I removed the screens from mine because one of them broke and got stuck in the solenoid valve.
