Just a short note to say many many thanks for organising our
Kentish visit. Anne greatly enjoyed both meeting your good selves
and the local countryside and cathedrals.
On a different note, I have a lad down 'ere who has a few
original jag owners and workshop manuals from 50s and
60s for sale, where would I go to find a fair value to pay him?
It was good to see you two too - and especially nice to meet up with Anne.
Now you both know where we are, just come over whenever you are this way
again.
As for the manuals, it is Beaulieu this weekend. If you can let me know
which the manuals are on offer, I can check them out on the field - but I am
leaving tomorrow (Thursday) tea-time. So you will need to turn your reply
around sharpish.
If that’s not poss, let me know the details anyway, and I’ll have a stab at
a value myself.

Sales brochures for Mk 1, Mk8 and XK150
Owners manual for 2.4 Mk II
Autobooks manual for 420
Workshop manuals for Mk II, Mk I, Mk 10, XJ6 S1 and Mk VII-XK150
I am told the conditions are excellent and I’ll have a look myself later
today.

I can tell you about one of these. The owners manual 2.4 Mk ll, I sold one
recently for $41.00. It was in good condition without greasy fingermarks!
