[collectibles] Matchbox G-2 Transporter Gift Set

I have one of the above complete with original box and tray except I can’t
find the specific contents listed in any of the online references. The
illustration on the box matches four cars and the transporter itself so it is
as supplied and in it are:

Major Pack M-8 Transporter [Farnborough-Measham Car Auction Collections]
Matchbox No 28 [Jaguar Mk 10]
Matchbox No 32 [E-Type Jaguar]
Matchbox No 44 [Rolls Royce Phantom V]
Matchbox No 53 [Mercedes Benz 200 S.E.]

TIA for info from any model experts.

     You mean this one?

Priced a bit over the top, IMHO, but maybe not....

That’s it! Typical - I searched eBay a while back and no sign of one but
didn’t prior to posting the request. Mine also has ‘rare’ grey wheels…

You say priced OTT, but that’s [$305] what’s currently being bid for it after
all and still three days to go. I might put mine on at this rate - depending
on how many others were after it at the price paid or contact the losing
bidder …

It’s a slow day…anybody want to bet on what the price is when this
auction winds up?

My guess is $400-$410…I’ll wager a Hot Wheels XJ220 on it!

Mike

Um. No one is into guessing. So I’ll go for $450-460.

Does anyone have a spare intact SS Jaguar radiator winged emblem for the 3.5
Litre (Black enamel) in good condition they will dispose of please? Contact
off list if so.
