[collectibles] XK-140 pewter model, looking for information

I have a pewter model of the XK-140 that is 6’’ long and mounted on
a pewter base that is made to resemble a country road with a stone
wall behind. There is a man driving and a lady in the passenger
seat.

The base has the following information. Sports Car Club of America
logo. ‘‘Official tribute to the Jaguar SK-140’’ ‘‘BREEZIN’’ by
Raymond Meyers. There is also a copywrite mark beside a double
box, the left box has a ‘‘F’’ the righ box ‘‘79’’ it is also
marked ‘‘fine pewter’’

I have contacted the SCCA and they know nothing.
Because of the excellant detail and the fact that the underside of
the car is also detailed, I would think the car was also available
without the base.

I am looking for any information, who made it, when, was it a
limited release. I do have pictures.

Thanks–

In reply to a message from txbarney sent Mon 5 Jun 2006:

This is one a a handful of dioramas sold briefly by the
Franklin Mint in -IIRC- the late 1970’s.

I do not recall whether the scale was ever published, or
even consistent from piece to piece. The cars were never
sold separately from the dioramas.

Other items were a Duesenberg phaeton, Mercedes SSK, Rolls
Pahntom III.

A curious note: only the jaguar version portrayed the car in
motion; the others were shown parked at the curb. heh.
