[concours] Horns on XK140 DHC

G’Day,

I have arecently restored XK 140 DHC and the horns are pathetic, it has two
of them and together they are useless.
Is there something wrong here!

Is there a part number or something to identify if these are the correct
horns.

The car was recently converted to negative earth (is this relevant !)

Give me the year of your car and I’ll look up the original part number.

Brett:

The proper horn should be 70063D/F low note, and 70071D/F for the high note.
This information comes from the Lucas Master Catalogue 1945-60.

Ron

Ron,

I will take them off and see what I can find , I will advise.
