[concours] Jaguar Corral at the Monterey Motorsports Reunion 8/20-21

Time for the Monterey Auto spectacle! This year on August
19-21 (and even earlier if you like).

The Jaguar Associates Group (JAG, our local JCNA club) will
host a corral for Jaguars at the Monterey Motorsports
Reunion, the famous historic races at Laguna Seca. This
means a parking place in close to the track, among other
Jaguars and all the other fantastic marques rather than
miles away in the dusty outback. You buy tickets and
corral passes directly from Laguna Seca, here:

You just get your passes and come. Better hurry as there
is not much time for them to mail you the corral passes.

I went to the very first Monterey Historic race, and to
most of them since. A fantastic event where you are free
to walk among the cars and people in the paddock. Jay Leno
is always there on Saturday, and I have often seen Norman
Dewis, Davey Jones, and many other famous international
drivers. This year the featured marque is BMW for their
100th anniversary and they are sure to have a museum-
quality display. Jaguar has had a big display area
recently, and I’d be surprised if they didn’t have the new
XK-SS project featured.

Hope to see you there! I’ll be helping host the corral
this year.
