[concours] Will tail lights with Led components be marked down?

My question applies to an XK120 with this upgrade to the rear
stop lights as they seem brighter than the usual OEM
equipment. I know how fussy the judges can be. Looking forward

It all depends on which kind of show you are going to. Something
like Pebble Beach or Amelia Island might look at the car and notice
that they are not original because they are brighter. If the bulbs
are contained within the original lenses and appear original, there
is no problem in JCNA judging. The rules only require that the
lights work. How bright they are is not judged, just original
appearance. Being brighter and more visable is a plus for safety.–
