The hole distance is hopefully the same as the “standard” for many shift levers. I used a little short straight shifter from Summit for my T5. This post has a link and a pic:
)I decided to do a temporary solution to my current ski slope and shifter set up, as welding up and refinishing the new ski slope I got from @Craig_Dearth going to take some time.
I keep several sheets of stiff plastic with a faux wrinkle finish around the garage, they are handy for little detail work.
