Hi all, I don’t know how the cover of the gearbox and the cover of the cordon shaft were linked. Send you the pictures of the two peaces I have of my MK IV DHC, Do I miss a part of it or is this a wrong shaft cover??

I could be wrong, but I thought there was a transition piece that is flat that allows the two to mate.
Pictures of the transmission tunnels when carpeted seem to show this.
In practice the gear box cover sits on top of the ply floors. The transmission tunnel sits under the ply on the angle strips. But no, that’s all there is apart from some sealant at the joint.
