Have just been on utube and watched the replacement of the crossover pipe on our and other 2016 jag XJ s. The new replacement one has no seams , which was the problem on the old ones as we have .
Cost to replace both upper and lower pipes is approx $2500.
This should have been a recall !!! no excuses. Plan to get ours changed even though they are not leaking now at 35 000 miles as dont want to get caught out and overheat the engine and be held up on the highway .
