[DaimLan] Mystic electric button under dashboard?

I have recently bought a Daimler 2,5 V8 1966. Next to the
adjustingknob for the clock there is a black electrick pullbutton.
Nothing seems to be happening when I pull it. It doesn�t seem to be
mentioned or shown in the original instruction book either. Does
anyone have a clue what it is???–

Are you sure it is not the zeroing knob for the trip
odometer? Having pulled it, try turning it with it still
pulled out–
