When I bought my B Spec SP250 it had been stood in an orchard for 8 years with no roof on. The feet of the frame at the A posts were completely rusted. I fixed it by cutting the rusted metal back and carefully grafting on sheet steel, bent to shape. I was a student at the time, so cash was very tight. It didn’t require any special tools though (apart from a welding machine) and was fairly straight forward.
I’d suggest that you have a go, using bolts or screws initially.If it doesn’t fit you can adjust things before welding.
