Door windows don't seal

Hi there!
The door windows on my 2000 coupe have gotten in the habit of not sealing after I close the door. I do the drill to reprogram them and that works for a few times then they quit again. I noticed this last time that when the driver side failed, the passenger side wouldn’t work properly either.
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!
Michael

When I have had that problem, it has been after the battery was disconnected for service. Perhaps your battery is getting old.

Sure sign your battery is dying or seriously undercharged. Try a full overnight charge first and if that doesn’t cure it then you’ll be looking at a new battery.

Hi there!
Thank you for your response. You are probably on to something. I have
the same battery that came with the car four years ago. Who knows how
long it had been in the car prior to our purchase!
Thanks again for your help.

Hi Jim!
Thank you for your response.
I have the same battery that came with the car when I bought it four
years ago. Who knows how long it had been in the car by that time! I
guess I got my money’s worth, in any event.
I will try the slow charge tonight and go from there.
Thanks again!
