E Bay scammer.
Someone was trying to sell a 150S ots on E bay which ended on Feb 14th, the deal failed at $48,600.!!! after a bit of sleuthing I got the Vin 830436dn and engine number VS-1258-9, It seems the car 830436 is in Arizona and the engine sits in car S-831005dn in the UK, both vehicles are on XK Data. The car is supposedly in Apple Valley Calif. is that a fictitious place also?
Someone did the same with my car too about six months after I bought it. Late '50 120OTS. They used the same pictures and text but tweaked the location to Minnesota instead of California. I reported it to eBay but I don’t think they did anything. I was kind of miffed when it didn’t make the auction reserve thinking it should have been bid up for more. Oh well, at there was no buyer to get stiffed.
