[E-Type] 3.8 engine rebuild xke

Looking for sources for piston sleeves & pistons & rings, is it
better to purchase as a kit instead of peice mill. My machinist is
asking for more info on how they seal inside of engine block any
help would be great. Wanting to build a basic engine with
dependable results.

To the best of my knowledge, the sleeves are a slight interference
fit. That is the seal between cooling passages/crankcase. Bill
Terry is quite open to giving engine building advice/clearances etc.
