I am restoring my 1970 E Type and would appreciate it if someone
could send me a link or a photo with the wires connected to the 8
Pin connector for the bonnet. I am using all new harness, wiring
block and 8 pin connector. I also could use the wiring connecting
block. The wire diagram does not address the layout.

Fred, Go to Coolcat.Corp, and in the FAQ section find the
SII ‘‘E’’ wiring diagram. Down in the LHS bottom area you will
see double circles with a number in the centre…these are
the positions on the bonnet connector plug.–

The pin-out is:
Pin 1 - Ground - Black
Pin 2 - Hi Beams - Blue/White
Pin 3 - Low Beams - Blue/Red
Pin 4 - Horns - Purple/Yellow (Series 1 only)
Pin 5 - Side Lamps - Red
Pin 6 - Fog Lights - Red/Yellow (optional)
Pin 7 - RH Flasher - Green/White
Pin 8 - LH Flasher - Green/Red–
