[E-Type] adjusting z/s carbs

I’ve a 68 2+2. Just got the carbs back from Joe Curto. I put them
on & the cat runs better than ever. looking to see what is the best
way to adjust them. I have adjustable needles, I also have a older
unisyn. Is the unisyn used to set the idle between the 2 carbs? Also
when I have the car in drive (its a auto trans) w/ my foot on the
brakes the engine runs a little bit rough, not bad. Would this be c
a vacuum leak or is it normal. Thanks, Matt Murphy–

I would suggest you talk to Joe Curto about the best way to
adjust them.–

You need to adjust the air/fuel mixture on both before you use the unisyn to ballance the two. I ballance the 2 at about 2,000 rpm’s, and it is “close enough” at idle.

Matt:

The Uni-Syn is used to balance the air flow between the
carburetors. The low spped idle is set after you balance the air
flow.
