E type bonnet catches for 1968 model

I have taken off the two bonnet catches, the ones on the right and left side. I have forgotten which position they are suppose to be when opened and closed. Pictures I have seen have them in different positions. Would be helpful if someone has picture of them in opened and closed positions. Many thanks

Here is mine open and then closed. Both driver and passenger side rotate to the right to latch closed on my car.
