[E-Type] E-type gets creamed - american claim culture

Gentleman,

I cafefully read your advice to the unfortunatly mr LLoyd.
I see a large culture difference between holland and america: the way you
think about claiming and sueing: some of you go much further, like john
walker wrote:

Or… maybe you could sue Starbucks or whomever sold her the coffee.
Picture the headlines “Defective coffee container, leads to auto mishap”.
this totally ignores the individuals responsibility for their own actions.
Even with bad products / services people should be responsible for the
actions the perform with it. doing this you have a chance avoiding two
negative results of your claim culture:

  • companies, also the good ones, have to pay a high insurance fee for
business liability. this incrases all produxct prices.
  • you will evelop more “not so bright” daughters because they did not have
    to think.

What do you think om this item ?

Sometimes I just don’t understand…
