Hmm…betcha it ain’t very thick gauge wall tubing: for
$110, you’ve got two 180s. a couple straight pieces, and 2
90s. Two of them is cheaper than buying the tubing for a set
of headers… And it’s already polished!
Given it’s useless as a ‘roll bar,’ what the hey?

I think you may have misinterpreted their intended function.
This is obviously a rack to dry your socks and undies on
whilst traveling.–

Wherever space and time interact, there is information, and wherever information can be ordered into knowledge, and knowledge can be applied, there is intelligence.

Useless? Oh I don’t know.
If you were ever to flip the car and skid along upside down it
would stop your body wearing down below the shoulders - which would
be handy for the emergency services to take your wallet out of your
jacket pocket and call your significant other to collect the car
and bring some touch up paint.
Now if it were telescopic like a trombone slide and lockable in the
raised position like a camping pole, it might even be worth the
cabin space.

Yeah, but think about it Peter, at least your shoulders would be
protected!!
They would work on a four foot midget.
Obviously, the guy selling these doesn’t understand the term ‘‘Roll
Bars.’’

It occurred to me that this seller had no idea of how this
trim piece is supposed to go on the car and that in fact, Tom
is right and it is supposed to bolt MUCH higher up. At least
then you could run a string from front to back and dry clothes
or set up a privacy wall or something…
