[E-Type] Odd shaped spacers

While cleaning and cataloging parts I cam across 2 odd shaped
spacers that I don’t recognize. They are 7/8’’ long, with a 1/4’’
hole offset from center and 2 flats on one end for a wrench to fit.

Sounds like behind the throttle linkage bell crank on the firewall.

I’ll vote for the throttle linkage spacers as well. On a LHD car,
there is a pivot lever that changes the direction of the linkage
from vertical to horizontal. There are two of these spacers between
the bulkhead and the pivot mechanism. The offset holes and flats
are to allow for adjustment of the stopping points of the lever.
The adjustment is intuitive once you look at it and play around
with it a bit.–

Yes,
by the description it must be those.
I do have a picture of the assembly taken apart.
Not at home but with the car in the shop.
If you want a scan, I do that on Monday and mail them to you

I have just located the above parts for my S II OTS and I can confirm
that indeed the S II is exactly as you guys have written it up . I was
pleased to read about it as i was a little puzzled how it went together. If
anyone want a photo please let me know. John M Holmes 1970 S II OTS, in

Could number one be the spacer behind the clutch master cylinder?
