Nice to see your post re the comparisions… as you know we represent both
boxes and unfortunately Paul’s comparison is with the standard 3550 much
like the standard T5. Both boxes are modified and Paul has shown his ( JT5)
with the modificartions and does not show the TX 51 ( formerly 3550) as it
is set up by John for the Etype…
Better to have an apples to apples comparision…
Kind regards
tony

This is a set of “Jaguar Splined Drive Minilite Racing Wheels,” reputedly an
original magnesium set from the 60’s. I don’t think these are as handsome as
the alloys used on the lightweight racers, but you autocrosser types might
want to investigate.
Know nothing, etc. The reserve hasn’t been met at $1500, don’t know how much
they’re worth. I would have thought around that, but that probably just
demonstrates my ignorance.

I’ve got a set like this but 7.5" rear 6.5" front - they do quite a lot to ensure
the E stays right side up, I only paid USD500 though but mine don’t look to be in as
nice condition.
Good to hear from you Tony.
I was wondering if you need room reservations for next year?
I still want a 5-speed someday, but will wait to see if I want to put
it in PrtyKty of get a coupe (a bit more practical for cross-country).
I enjoyed your visit last year and loo0k foreward to sharing more

Sounds good Lloyd. Make sure that you have some Bush Mills Irish Whis-
