These bikes were truly fabulous and way ahead of their time. For
anyone near Burmingham Ala, the Barber museum has one on display. On Fri, Dec 3, 2010 at 9:00 PM, paul spurlock jagdood@gmail.com wrote:

Didn’t Lyons have a Brough with a sidecar? I think he named
his sports car after the SS100 too.–

Yes it is…definitely a must-see for any kind of motorcycle

In the same way that Lawrence helped the image of Broughs,
Vincent owners noted that since the image of Rolli Frei on his
run at Bonneville in his skiddys, and Jay Leno appearing with
his Shadow a couple of years ago, Vinny prices went through
the roof, very important to keep these machines secure now I’m
afraid, can’t just park them by the kerb and walk too far
sadly.–

In Southern Ontario we are fortunate to have an incredible
collection of vintage motorcycles of all kinds, thanks to
the members of the Canadian Vintage Motorcycle Group. I’ve
contributed a few myself, too.
We have the annual show at Paris, On. every summer. So
rather than travel to Alabama, you can just sit back here
and watch the slideshow. Indians, Broughs, Vincents,
Excelsiors and many others. A great weekend that I always
attend.:-
