Yes Paul,
But not original!!! (pattern)
I think I ducked in timeâŚdidnât I?
Iâve done this twice, the first time was ok as I had the
wiper mechanism out (and the dash) but apparently I did not
tighten the other one sufficiently which resulted in a wet
right foot once when I used the washerâŚ
The second time was harder, but still with original parts.
Now itâs been fine the past eight years.
Cheers,

I used the fan squirters from a Geo Metro: they snap into
the slightly-modified holes in the bulkhead and require no
pesky nuts to retain them. They also squirt a much nicer
pattern!

And to that, I say, HALLELUAH! As you know, Iâm no slave to
the ââOMIGAWD, if itâs not original, itâs SACRILEDGE!ââ amen corner
of this hobby.
If they ever fail, the Geo squirters can be changed out in minutes, from the outside, and have a better spray pattern for
the triple wipers. I also prefer the flat black of them, over the
tacky little chrome caps.
There I go againâŚ;)â

OMG!!!
How can anyone prefer black over chromeâŚ
I enjoy the puny little (but original!) stream whenever my
windscreen needs it. Maybe thatâs only because itâs not
hitting my left leg!?!?!
Sorry, this is getting our of handâŚ

I need to reinstall mine in the coming weeks. If the
grommet trick doesnât work for the originals, could you
please provide additional info : year of metro and do the
holes need to be modified.
Thanksâ

My Metro was a '98: I think any from '95 to '02 will work.
The hole needs to be ânibbledâ out a bit, so it looks kinda
like a bow tie, front to back. You can see the shape of the
hole if you getâem off a junkyard car, or I can take a foto
of mine, if you wish.â

Paul, My faith in you is completely shattered. I can live with shag carpets, poiple paint and god knows what else, but a line must be drawn somewhere. You are now threatening the evolution of the species by cutting, nibbling out if you wish, a bow tie (how could you!!) in the cowl of your irreplaceable piece , not only family history, but preservation of the lineage of Jaguar cars. Sounds like a good idea ;_).

Wiggles, I guess that I misunderstood. I thought the bow tie shaped hole was made so that you could insert the SBC from the top without raising the bonnet.

Wiggles, I think that you could have bought just one of those exhaust tips and a BFH and punched the necessary holes. You probably would have had to source huge windscreen washers to fill the holes though ;_D
