Early XKE hood canopy Bowdrill material?

Was Tan Bowdrill material used on all inside roof canopies ? I am installing a Robbins Stayfast roof . I have enough roof lining to cover the canopy to match lining of top However I do not want to lose points by not using orig bowdrill Tan Need some advice here from some Judges…

Thanks for the Reply Bob It looks like yours is the Orig Bowdrill that I see in the Restoration guide by Haddock and Mueller, I guess what I need to know is that was the whole underside of the hood done in the same material or was Just the canopy done in bowdrill? as my new Hartz stayfast canvas roof has a beautiful material underside and I have enough to do the canopy but do not want to lose points over it… Best Regards Mark BTW my car is on XK Data 875880
