Fuel pump change on a '96 convertible

Have found this really helpful string in the archives. Looks like I just have to pull harder and hope nothing breaks.

I’m attempting to remove my fuel tank to replace the fuel pump pump on my '94 XJ6. Has anyone come up with an easier way to remove the two con connectors on the bottom of the fuel tank? Thanks gents.
