No doubt in my mind a third brake light is a wise addition, especially with a flasher.

One mans opinion here…on a car as beautiful as an E, I think you want to be subtracting, not adding.

Agreed, why you want it to be easily removable.

Someone analysed data on rear end accidents and concluded the introduction of high level brake lights had absolutely no effect on the level of accidents. I think it was UK data, but when they checked they discovered that high level brake lights were introduced after a report suggested it might be a good idea if this was tested. It was mandated instead.

There was also a UK study early this year that claimed there is no demonstrated benefit to dental flossing, to which John Oliver quipped “don’t knock it 'till you’ve tried it!”
