How do you get these rings off?

Hi all

I’m fighting getting these off… what should I be doing?

Is that a jag part? My VW has a bunch of those things. They’re call speed clips or something. If the stud is threaded you can spin them off. If not, then pry back on one of the tangs a bit and it will slip off. If it gets bent you can push it back down in a vice.

Thanks Erica. Yes they are on the back side of the radio faceplate on the center counsel.

Use a Hook Scribe to get under the tab and gently bend them outward.
