You just like the smell!
I miss hearing a 2-stroke: they’re just so danged…amusing to listen to! Not to mention the smell of burnt castor oil!
I got a 1966 (Allstate) Puch 250 SGS that I rebuilt about 6 years ago. It is a split-single 2 stroke
with two pistons sharing one combustion chamber. Slow as hell and built like a tractor but trails
a light blue haze like a proper 2 stroke should. Good times.

Almost as weird as the DKWs that used one cylinder as a supercharger for the other!
Reminds me of the GM A6 air conditioning compressor used by Jaguar.
