Interior plywood

What is thickness of plywood used for interior liner panels? Wood I have measured 3.8 mm. 3 ply with center ply thicker than exterior ply’s. Appears to be hardwood. Anyone know what type plywood it is and a source?

I would think 5 ply sitka spruce . Does not warp or delaminate

I have a junk piece out of a '53 XK120 and it is 1/8" 3-ply baltic birch or marine plywood. This stuff is measured and sold in metric so you may find it in 4mm. I got mine from Owl Hardwoods in Lombard IL but there are many sources online.

If you want Sitka spruce, check with Aircraft Spruce, a very reliable dealer of aircraft parts especially to the people who build their own planes.

Also a good source for high heat wiring.
