Jag dies randomly while driving

1985 XJS with Corvette LT1 conversion (carbureted). Conversion uses the stock Chevy fuel pump. I believe the original Jag fuel pump is still inline and not working, but can’t find the pump. Where is the original Jag pump so I can plumb around it?

Not as sure on the XJS as I am on my XJ wuzza 6. But, I suspect it is in the boot as well.

Odd. Why a carb on the LT1? My car has a Cadillac sourced LT1 and uses the excellent EFI of the donor car.

As far as I know, the LT1 powered cars used a fuelpump/ fuel guage sensor module immersed ion the tank?

I’m not sure why whomever did the conversion used a carburetor instead of fuel injection. I’m still looking at the fuel line routing in the engine compartment to make sure that isn’t part of the problem as well. Currently there is a second fuel filter plumbed in. It sits right on top of the intake manifold. I’m thinking of removing it as the original fuel filter in the trunk area was recently replaced.
