Has anyone seen any news from Jag or Tata about the buyout. I have
not seen anything since last spring or summer.

Yesterday’s Wall St. Journal, Feb 10, 2009, reported that Tata
Motors has to pay off the $2 Billion in June for the purchase price
and that they only have about $100 Million in cash reserves.
They report that the parent company Tata Sons put $475 Million into
Tata Motors last year but that being a private company there was no
way to tell what reserves they have.
They report that the value of Tata Sons holdings in its 27 listed
companies dropped by 1/2 last year to under $25 Billion.
