Thx for your reply, but I believe the 2+2 was wider and longer…the forward dimensions are the same though.

And all in the doors, as far as the tub goes. Obviously mechanicals that run from to back are longer.
Guess I should have said “door section of the tub”
Yes, all of the additional 9 inches are in the door openings, between the A and B pillars. And the bulkhead structure behind the FHC front seats is reconfigured - pushed back to make room for the rear seats and the floor pans are redesgined.
Thank you all for the info. I confirmed the 9 inch difference. I never realized it was that significant.
